The Ritual of the Calling of an Engineer
The Ritual of the Calling of an Engineer dates back to the 1920s. At the ceremony, graduating engineering students and those with acceptable qualifications take the Obligation Oath and are presented with the Iron Ring. Uniquely Canadian, the Ritual operates through Camps located across the country. Camp 8 is the only camp operating in Manitoba.

Ring Presenters do not require a guest ticket. The candidate has the option of providing their Ring Presenter with a sponsor ticket, a guest ticket, or the presenter can pay the admission fee of $15 at the time of the ceremony.
